Crusading for Higher Education College Tour
We are excited to announce our Summer 2017 College Tour! Our “hands-on” and “minds-on” trip allows our ACTSTEEN to experience university campuses across the state of Illinois, Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri. Making our world a better place is always a priority here at Acts, our teens will also participate a community service when visiting each state while on the College Tour!
The process of figuring out which school best fits the students’ needs is an overwhelming and confusing task. The 2017 Crusading for Higher Education College Tour helps make this experience affordable, enriching and fun. Students will have the opportunity to take campus tours, meet with admissions representatives, and receive materials to help evaluate each university. Exploring the universities’ campuses allows students to get a “feel” for what college is like and provide cultural and educational experiences to assist during the college selection process.
Acts goal is to raise funds so that our students can join their more affluent peers in visiting colleges throughout the country. This helps them to make the transition from the community in which they grew up to a broader community and an independent experience.
